the new Right has to know this - always attack, never defend.

Great comments. I've come to have a more positive opinion on Vance the more I've learned about him and his "comments" in the past. He changed his mind on a few things before getting tapped for VP as every politico does once they see the bigger picture.

Thanks. I think you are exactly right. He was just breaking onto the scene and didn't yet know what time it was--but now he does. I have no doubt that he is all in on the MAGA agenda and that he is the kind of VP who in the crucial moments will be telling Trump to enforce the law (against riots, for instance) even if it looks bad, as opposed to Pence, whom I'm sure always counseled too much restraint. Sometimes protecting the natural rights of citizens can be ugly, but it is the right and best thing to do.

Whats up with this glazzing of Vance? He is a liberal cosmopolitan and anti-white coal-burner from Yale, who called Trump a Nazi in 2016, and is connected with homosexual Thiel? What exactly are we winning?

1. Vance changed his mind about Trump. He didn't understand the situation well enough in 2016. That is too bad, but based on who follows on X, I think that he gets it now. He is able to articulate the policies of the Trump platform in slightly clearer ways. He has less charisma than Trump, sure, but he is clearer.

2. Vance doesn't appeal to you, but he appeals to a lot of Trump's base. Picking Vance means doubling down on the base. That is important, because Americans are living in parallel realities. If you want to vote for Trump after the mainstream media said that he is Hitlor / will definitely end democracy as we know it, then you don't want to see Trump pick some sort of milquetoast guy like Pence again in order to please the moderates. Instead, he picked someone who wants to double down on Trump's policies rather than restrain them. He is fundamentally on Trump's side, on the MAGA Right or New Right and not part of the old ineffective guard.

3. Thiel played a role in helping some of the tech guys swing to the Right. If his example played even the slightest role in changing Elon's mind about Trump (to the tune of $45 million a month!) then that is a great gain. Smart, successful, powerful men supporting Trump makes it a more "respectable" endeavor, or allows a lot of people who might have been scared to say something now be more vocal in their support of Trump.
