Has Kruptos commented on Paulos's Great House Plan as an alternative schema? What of the "reenchantment of the fractal pattern by living storytelling," typified by Jonathan Pageau?
Not really. Paulos and I are mutuals in a group chat together and I know of it and read his pieces on it but have not given them deep thought. I suspect that some of my ideas are a bit more radical than Pageau's but I have respect for his work and reputation.
Thank you for such a timely reply. Coincidently after listening, I read a 300 word snipit on how Chesterton's Distributivism influence Alexander Solzhentizyen vision for a post-Soviet Russia. Do those two or E. F. Schumacher have a clear enough pathway to "The Shire" in your opinion?
I am not familiar enough with either, but distributism definitely has a number of positive features and is very much aligned with the kinds of things I have talked about.
Great interview, thank you. I will add Ellul to the list.
Thanks, as always, for your generous comment!
